"Lovely bar, opening onto the terrace, where experienced staff give practised advice on wines. Food at the brasserie - comfortable, low-lit and relaxed - is generous both in its portions and flavours."
Telegraph Travel
"There's a wealth of history in its ceiling beams."
The West Briton
"It's a stylish hotel with a well-regarded restaurant which is elegant, sophisticated and colourful."
Tom Chesshyre, The Times
"Minus the food, perhaps my favourite thing about the restaurant was the relaxed atmosphere. Based on the luxuriousness of our room, one could easily assume and expect a grand dining experience, but instead, an intimate dining experience enhanced by soft lighting welcomed us."
The Wordrobe
"The chef’s signature is beef cooked three ways and it is melt-in-the-mouth delicious, especially when washed down with a bottle of red. The seafood is (of course) excellent and fresh, and the atmosphere is lively."
Vanity Fair
