The Hotel
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is before 11am.
Breakfast is served in our restaurant from 7:00am until 10:00am everyday. Breakfast can also be delivered to your bedroom for a supplement of £5. Please speak to reception to find out more.
Our room service menu is available 24 hours a day. However from 9:00pm until 7:00am we offer a limited service of light snacks and beverages.
Parking is available to all guests. We have allocated bays for disabled parking near the main hotel entrance and a dedicated space opposite The Courtyard entrance. Guests are reminded not to leave personal belongings on view in their vehicles. The Alverton does not accept responsibility for damage or theft of vehicles, or their contents, whilst parked at the hotel.
Yes, we do have an electric charging point in the car park. Should you require use of our electric car charging point during your stay, please note we charge a fee of £20 per session. For more information about use of our charging point, please speak to our reception team.
We have a number of room types in our main house and The Courtyard, including classic rooms, garden view rooms, executive suites, junior suites and superior suites.
Room upgrades are subject to availability and prices vary depending on the time of year. If you wish to upgrade your room, please contact our reception team prior to arrival.
Newspapers can be ordered from reception and delivered to your door for an additional cost. However, if your room is in The Courtyard and has an outside door, your paper will be kept at reception for you.
Gift vouchers can be purchased from our reception or over the phone by contacting 01872 276 633.
From the A30 take the exit for the A39 from the Carland Cross roundabout. Continue on the A39 and then turn right onto Tregolls Road. At the roundabout take the 5th exit and stay on Tregolls Road, turn left at The Alverton Hotel sign and continue up the driveway. The hotel can only be accessed via Tregolls Road – please be aware when using a Sat Nav.

Booking
If you have not received a booking confirmation, please check your junk folder before contacting our reception team on 01872 276 633.
You can make a change to your booking by speaking to the reception team on 01872 276 633 or by emailing them here. If you have booked through a third party website including Booking.com, you will need to liaise with them direct.
We now have a selection of dog friendly rooms at the hotel and welcome well behaved dogs to come and stay. Per dog we charge £20 per night. This includes a dog blanket, water bowl and food bowl for the night, and some gourmet treats for them to enjoy. Click here to find out more about our dog friendly offers.
Sorry but we do not currently offer onsite babysitting services.
Prior to checking in, we can store your luggage in a secure room.
We do not have safes in our rooms apart from our suites. But we do have a hotel safe where guests can deposit any valuables, and a receipt will be provided.
The reception team offers a mailing service but we do not sell stamps. However we can frank your post with the usual stamp price.
We are happy to arrange taxis or cars for you during your stay. Please contact reception for further details. If taxis are required during peak times, pre-booking is essential.
We do not currently accept American Express cards. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Restaurant
We recommend that both residents and non-residents book the restaurant prior to arrival as we can get extremely busy. For those who have not booked, we will unfortunately not be able to guarantee a table.

Booking for breakfast is essential. You can do this at the time of check-in.
We do take bookings for our bar area, but we do not take bookings for our terrace area. You can book online here.
Dogs are not allowed in our restaurant. However, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the terrace and in our bar.
Our daytime menu is available from 12pm until 5pm Monday – Saturday. Our dinner menu is available from 6:00pm until 9pm.
Our kitchen team can adapt our menu to suit dietary requirements. We ask that if you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking, or prior to your arrival.

Truro city centre is less than a 10 minute walk from The Alverton.

We have four licensed rooms for wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and blessings, and we can also host functions and conferences. Please contact our wedding and events team if you are interested in using one of our spaces – or meet them direct by asking for Clare or Amber at reception.
