Walk to Malpas
One of our favourite walks, start at The Alverton and wander through the town towards the riverside village of Malpas – about a mile outside the city centre. Here, you can enjoy a coffee at one of our favourite cafes: Cafe in the Park.
Head back into town
After taking in the views of Truro’s river, head on back to the city centre for a bit of shopping. Truro is bursting with popular independent shops such as Uneeka, Illustrated Living, Mistral, and Busby & Fox, who can provide great gifts to bring back to your family and friends – or to treat yourself! If shopping isn’t your thing, head to the Royal Cornwall Museum to learn about Cornish history and heritage or see one of the many exhibitions on offer.
