World Pasty Championships 2022

Celebrate St Piran’s Day with a pasty!

The Eden Project will be celebrating St Piran’s Day with their annual World Pasty Championship, supported by the Cornish Pasty Association. This one’s a fantastic opportunity for a good old Cornish shindig, with pasties galore and live music and entertainment from local bands.

The event is open to both amateur and professional bakers, so why not enter or simply go along to grab a bite of a delicious pasty?

Wille and the Bandits

A classic blues rock three-piece, Wille and the Bandits are comparable to Cream or Jimi Hendrix, and like these bands they’re pushing at the boundaries of their genre. The band combines three talented and committed musicians who come from very different musical backgrounds. Wille’s exquisite slide guitar playing and powerful vocals are given perfect momentum with Andy’s innovative drumming, while virtuoso Matt, with his six string bass and double bass, adds even extra wow.

The Greenbank's Sundowner Session: Rue

On the last Friday of each month, The Greenbank host a talented local musician to accompany an evening of gorgeous tipples and stunning harbour views.
