Nothing beats a brisk walk on New Year’s Day to cure the sore head from the night before, and embrace the first day of a brand new year. This New Year’s Day, visit The Lost Gardens of Heligan, at their botanical oasis of woodland, flora, and seasonal fruit and vegetables.
Your visit on 1st January will also help towards a great cause, as Heligan have pledged to donate all money raised from the admission tickets to their chosen charity – First Light.

Bodmin Wassail
A tradition that has survived since 1624, every 6th January in Bodmin, the streets are filled with the melodies of wassail songs from years gone-by. Dressed to impress in top hats and tailcoats, the day starts at the Bodmin Town Council.
