We’re ready to hit the ice because Eden‘s glittering ice skating rink is back for the winter season.

Get into the festive spirit by heading to the former clay pit in St Austell, putting on your skates and testing your skills at Cornwall’s most popular ice skating venue.

Bonfire Night Festival

Fireworks night is back with a bang!

And after a year long hiatus, Port Elliot Estate is ready to welcome you back for their spectacular display.

Head to the historic house and gardens, based in St Germans, to celebrate this year’s bonfire night in style. Take in the verdant gardens, enjoy delicious and warming food from some of Cornwall’s top vendors, savour your tipples of choice, then get ready to watch the fantastical display starting at 8.30pm.

Once the shopping is sorted, let your four-legged companions loose on the Christmas games, including a snowball run and the santa paws grotto.

This gourmet cookery evening will inspire and ignite your tastebuds.

Join expert teachers Maria and Allistair from The Truro Cookery School for this exciting foodie course.

The idea is simple. Enjoy small plates paired perfectly with delicious wines, provided by the school’s long-time friends Old Chapel Cellars.

Remembrance Sunday

On 14th November, the Royal British Legion Service of Remembrance will be held at Truro Cathedral at 3:15pm.

An Enchanting Lantern Experience

Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Austell

Enjoy an enchanting lantern experience at the Lost Gardens of Heligan’s annual winter event.

The Liverpool Lantern Company have once again joined forces with the award-winning organisation to create a spectacular display of incredible lanterns that will illuminate the garden’s trails. Expect to discover impressive creations of flora, fauna and wildlife that will both inspire and educate about the wonders of Cornwall’s indigenous species.

Last year’s event sold out in record time, so we recommend getting in there quick. Tickets can be pre-booked and start from £7.

This autumn, our sister hotel The Greenbank is offering some exceptional cocktail events.
