St Michael's Mount - last chance to visit
Make your way to the mount before the winter season arrives.
From 3rd September, the ancient castle with a rich historical legacy, St Michael’s Mount, closes its doors once again for the winter season. If there’s ever a reason to travel across the waters, this is it. Arrive by boat or foot depending on the tide, then make your way up the mount to the castle, where you’ll get to explore the ancient and rugged grounds. When you make it to the top, take in stunning views of Penzance.

Summer Garden Sessions: An evening with Josh Curnow
Join us on the terrace for our Summer Garden Sessions.
Listen to the tunes of Britain’s Got Talent Semi Finalist Josh Curnow on our sun-trap terrace, while tucking into our delicious summer dishes, during one of our final sessions of the year.
Josh has toured the country with musicians such as Atomic Kitten, Matt Cardle, K.T. Tunstall, Scouting for Girls and many more and is a multi-talented musician who can be seen playing a huge contrast of music, from stripped back covers, to really getting the crowd jumping. With two cocktails for £10, our sunny terrace and relaxing acoustic music, this is the best way to enjoy a summer evening.

Mark Watson Comedy Night
Prepare to laugh your socks off at this special comedy night, set against a stunning sub-tropical backdrop.
Comedian Mark Watson is returning to Trebah Garden for an evening of entertainment. The top comedian will be performing his latest stand-up special ‘This can’t be it’ that dives into serious topics like the fragility and meaning of life. Expect laughs and lots of ‘pathological other thinking’ at this unique comedy event.

The Little Orchard Cider and Music Festival
Welcome to the eighth year of The Little Orchard Cider and Music Festival.
And this year’s festival is expected to be bigger and better than ever. Known among locals as a ‘Charming Cornish Party’, this three day event will be filled with great music, top entertainment and lots of delicious food. Expect to dance the night away to the sounds of Cornwall’s top musicians at the BBC Introducing Sounds stage, tuck into festival creations from local producers, and get into the competitive spirit with the ‘Rattler Olympics’!

The Cornish Gin and Drinks Festival
To gin or not to gin? Silly question really!
A festival of all your favourite gins and drinks is coming to The Alverton on Saturday 11th September. Head to The Great Hall for the annual festival event which is sponsored by Franklin & Sons and Agner Arber.
From midday until late, expect to meet the makers and sample the very best in Cornish drinks. Lounge around sipping delicate cocktails, share a tasting board of home-made nibbles with your friends, then dance the night away to your favourite tunes. Festival-goers can expect a whole host of entertainment, including performances from local singer songwriters Rue, Mog Jones, and Ash Harding, as well as the ever-so-popular Falmouth Soul Sensation.

Autumn Afternoon Tea Party
This autumn, afternoon tea is high on our agenda.
Enter through the old oak doors and fall in love with the dramatic architecture of our Great Hall with this incredible afternoon event. Book with your friends or family and prepare for a delightful afternoon of food, tea, entertainment and even a few tipples if you choose to, while listening to the sweet melodies of renowned pianist, Roger Miners. It’s time to relax, unwind and indulge.

Eden Sessions
Get your dancing shoes ready because Eden Sessions are BACK!
Head to the former clay-pit in St Austell for a week of tunes from some of the UK’s top artists as they perform in front of the attraction’s incredible biomes. As part of this year’s line-up, musicians making their way to the main stage include Ben Howard, Idles, and McFly as well as lots of other amazing names. With a venue like no other, this experience will definitely be one to remember.

St Ives Food Festival
For foodies and families alike, this is an event not to be missed.
After a year long hiatus, St Ives Food Festival is back and this year it’s going to be a whopper. Set on the iconic beach of Porthminster, the food festival is a three day affair, and is a celebration of all things Cornwall, food and drink. Expect to tuck into a range of dishes from some of the UK’s top street-food stalls, savour exciting tipples from Cornwall’s top drinks producers and take your cooking skills up a notch in the chef demo tent. There will be lots of family fun happening too, with a bouncy slide, sports games, face painting, circus activities and more, making it a festival event for all to enjoy.

'Summer Isn't Over Yet' Cookery Course
See the summer off in style with this delicious cookery course that will tantalise your taste buds.
Join the highly knowledgeable team from the Truro School of Cookery for a Friday evening focused on food and drink. Chefs Maria Taylor and Alistair Turner will guide you through the lesson, with informative demonstrations as well as expert advice and guidance. Enjoy a glass of fizz on arrival before getting stuck into the cooking side of things, where you’ll get to practice a dish from a selection of summery choices. It’s the perfect way to spend a Friday night.
