Best Spots to See Bluebells in Cornwall

If there's one thing Cornwall does well, it is stunning scenery. During spring, this is no exception, with our tropical gardens blooming and flourishing all around the county. In this guide we'll share with you all the best places to see bluebells in Cornwall, so you can experience the best blooms around.

Enys Gardens, Penryn

Wander through the dappled woodlands and the blanket of blue blooms at Enys Gardens.

An undeniable hot spot to see these magnificent flowers. Enys is situated a few miles to the east of Penryn in Cornwall. Its tranquil gardens surround its ancient buildings that have largely been abandoned since the mid-20th century, but are gradually awakening from their long slumber.

Helman Tor, Bodmin Mor

One of the best places to see bluebells in Cornwall is surprisingly not in the woodlands, but on the moor of Helman Tor.

This is a glorious and peaceful walk that looks out over the remains of a Neolithic hill settlement. You can enjoy the historic sights as well as the gorgeous flowers as you wander around this stunning Cornish location.

Godolphin Estate, Helston

Are you a National Trust enthusiast? Then this is for you!

Godolphin Estate has a rich mining heritage and acres of stunning gardens and countryside to explore. Between April and May, you can make a beeline for the peaceful woodland area of the site and enjoy the blanket of blue that awaits you.

Tehidy Woods, West Cornwall

If you go into Tehidy Woods this spring, you’re sure of a big surprise.

The biggest area of woodland in west Cornwall, Tehidy Woods put on a show like no other. There are nine miles of trails to choose from and you can spend all day soaking up the magic of the bluebells that call it home.

Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Austell

You’ll be lost for words in these gardens.

One of the finest gardens near us as well as home to some of the best bluebells in Cornwall, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a must visit. Although Heligan is glorious all year round, there’s really no better time to visit than in the spring when the woodland walk is in full bloom.

Lanhydrock, Bodmin

Completed your bluebell exploration in these historic gardens.

Lanhydrock is home to a late Victorian country house as well as a stunning garden and wooded estate. The gardens were developed from the 17th century onwards and hold incredible beauty. Not only this, they also put on a lovely show of bluebells in the spring.
