The Alverton’s Beer and Cornish Drinks Festival

The legendary Sharp’s Brewery will be our headline sponsor for the festival. We’ll also have many other fantastic, local beer suppliers joining in the fun, including Jubel, Keltek, and Dynamite Valley. Lots more to be confirmed soon.

Beer isn’t the only beverage that will be flowing. Our Cornish brews will be joined by other tempting tipples, including artisan spirits such as gin from St Ives gin, Cornish fizz and rum.

From oodles of guest ales, local ciders and craft beers on offer, it’s time to find your new favourites. Our drinks suppliers will be with us all day until 7pm. Here, you can chat all things alcohol, try lots of free samples, and purchase your top picks. Head to The Library for brewery masterclasses to uncover the hidden secrets from some of our popular suppliers.

Drinking is top of the agenda, but we won’t let you go hungry. A banquet of rustic nibbles will be laid out for a hearty festival feast. This includes all the classics that go hand in hand with a pint of ale, lager or cider.

We’ve also got an exciting line-up of local musicians. Get your dancing shoes on as the festivities get underway from 12:30pm until late. Expect the likes of singer songwriters Mog Jones, Will Keating and Simon Willis who will be filling the Great Hall with acoustic sounds. As well as this, expect bands such as The Roosters, who’ll be getting the party vibe going later on into the evening.

What’s included?

Your ticket includes your choice of keepsake branded glass (either a pint glass or gin glass), as well as the first drink on us. We’ll also be announcing our schedule of brewery masterclasses shortly, so keep an eye out!
