The stunning National Trust Gardens and House, Trelissick, is the perfect place to glide along the water to. Arrive at Trelissick pontoon and step out onto this enchanting Cornish estate with sub-tropical gardens and picture-perfect views. This is an excellent place to take the whole family, with walks, food, shopping and family adventures to be had.

St Mawes | The Roseland

Moor up at St Mawes.

A small fishing village nestled at the end of the Roseland peninsula, St Mawes is the epitome of Cornish heaven. With twinkly blue water and bobbing boats, in the peak of summer it would be easy to forget whether you’re in St Mawes or the Mediterranean! St Mawes has 69 moorings that are let on a seasonal basis from 1st April to 31st October. Additionally there are 28 visitors’ moorings that can be booked with the harbour office too!

Tremayne Quay | Helford

Head up the Helford.

If you sail up the Helford River, you’ll be greeted with a sublime spot. This grade II listed stone quay was built for an anticipated visit by Queen Victoria in 1847. This enchanting location is certainly one of Cornwall’s crown jewels. You’ll find it located up beyond Frenchman’s Creek, as well as on the shoreline of Trelowarren. Whether you’re looking to light up a BBQ or stop and camp for the night, this is a great spot for all to enjoy.

Loe Beach | Feock

Lounge at Loe Beach.

Sitting at the head of a large natural harbour, this beach is sheltered and excellent for water-based activities. Here you can hire a range of kayaks as well as paddleboards from the local watersports centre. This destination is perfect for a family day out or activity day with friends. You can find Loe Beach by sailing along Carrick Roads.

Maenporth | Falmouth

Mooch along Maenporth.

Just a stone’s throw from Falmouth, Maenporth is delightful sandy cove that’s perfect for sunbathing, rock-pooling and sailing to. Maenporth beach offers incredible views across Falmouth Bay towards Pendennis Castle, so why not kick back, relax on your boat and soak up the amazing vistas?

Mylor | Near Falmouth

Explore Mylor Yacht Club.

One of the most beautiful villages on the network of creeks off the Fal River, Mylor is known for its history of shipping. Where packet ships used to bring trade, Mylor is now the heart of yachting as well as a sailing paradise. The marina has plenty of facilities including 400 berths. This harbour is worth sailing to for its wide range of activities, but also to check out the incredible yachts.
