If you play guitar, if you love Americana, modern folk or the blues then this is the gig for you. Rodney’s performance is trademarked as ‘full contact folk music’. A Texan local, Rodney learnt to play in Austin, has performed in Los Angeles and crafted his songs in Nashville. You can’t get much more authentic than this folky musician.

Talking Garden: Sensory Explorer Tours

Designed for blind or partially sighted visitors and friends, this garden tour includes detailed spoken descriptions and handling of plants, as well as the opportunity to make your own miniature sensory garden to take home. Paul Merton, Richard Vranch, Suki Webster, Mike McShane and accompanist Kirsty Newton are back on the road in 2022 to visit some of their favourite parts of the UK with another evening of mind-blowing improvisation.

We’d definitely recommend heading along to this performance if you’re looking for an evening of laughs. The age recommendation is 14+ and you can purchase tickets here.

The legendary Cornish ‘buoy band’ are back on stage, and what a stage it is! Head to The Minack Theatre this May and you’ll get to sing along to all of your favourite shanty songs. Whether you’re a local or a visitor to Cornwall, this is the ultimate gig to get into the Cornish spirit.

Guerrilla Museum

Visit The Guerrilla Museum, a pop event run by the Royal Cornwall Museum.

From Victorian household items to prehistoric hand axes, come and explore the theme of ‘home’ with this exciting pop up. The Guerrilla Museum will give you the chance to handle historic artefacts from the RCM’s collection, identify mystery objects, see some special objects from the museum stores, and contribute to our upcoming exhibition.

Outdoor Yoga Meditation

To celebrate Creativity and Wellbeing Week, Wheal Martyn are hosting relaxing outdoor yoga meditation in their beautiful, peaceful woodland. Superstition Mountain

The three Gunwallow brothers from St Day are in a bit of bother. Slim’s scrapyard business has gone pear-shaped, while Dwayne owes money to some very dodgy friends and youngest brother Mark is entangled in a doomed romance. There’s only one hope left, they must find the legendary Lost Dutchman’s gold mine on Superstition Mountain.

Join us from 6pm-9pm, where our wine maestro, Yohann, will be pouring six glasses of wine for you to sample throughout the evening. Slurp on our thoughtfully chosen menu of red, white, rosé and more, whilst listening to Yohann discuss the different characteristics of each wine.
