So good you’ll want to take a second lap, this enchanting light display is one to book quickly before it comes to an end. Keep an eye out for magical forest creatures and more! The Heligan team suggest wearing sturdy footwear, donning appropriate attire for the Cornish weather, and bringing along a torch as this is an outdoor event. The light show will leave you truly mesmerised.

Tunnel of Lights

Shipwreck Treasure Museum, Charlestown

Wander down a glistening tunnel of magic.

This multi-sensory tunnel is bursting with colour and magic and makes for a perfect day exploring with the family. With thousands of lights, frozen shipwrecks and icebergs, the discovery is endless. Adults tickets are £10, children’s tickets £8, and under 5s go free! You can purchase a time slot for this lovely winter adventure here.

Glide into January with the Eden Project’s glittering ice rink.

This annual tradition is one of our top things to do in January in Cornwall. Whether you’re a pro on the ice or a beginner, this is a fantastic activity to take the whole family along to. Just remember to wrap up warm in woolly hats, scarves and jumpers before pirouetting across the ice.

Whilst you’re enjoying the music, why not treat yourself to some delicious tipples? From local vodkas to hand-made infused gins, these cocktails will help you awaken your senses. Head along for cocktails every Friday from 5pm until late and enjoy the music from 7pm until 10pm. No need to book and all are welcome!
