A classic fairytale with a modern twist, the recently launched Hall of Cornwall will be bringing you this spectacular family Christmas show from the same team who created Sleeping Beauty and Jack and the Beanstalk. This is a show that promises to please both adults and children alike.
Cornwall Air Ambulance Carol Concert
Elevate your evening and join the team of Cornwall Air Ambulance for festive fun.
This socially-distanced event, hosted by Justin Leigh, will showcase wonderful performances from St Dennis Band, Nankersey Male Choir and even more special guests. This is a fantastic festive evening for the whole family. Standard tickets are £10 and £7.50 for children, which you can buy here.
Trebah Garden of Light
Follow a spell-binding lantern procession on an intimate walk.
Experience this glorious garden at night and navigate the sub-tropical pathways by the warm glow of your own handcrafted lantern. This event is also a fantastic opportunity to create your own lanterns with the family at home and showcase them around the gardens. Look out for the incredible lantern installations made by local creatives too. This journey will leave you feeling amazed and isn’t one to be missed!
The Great Christmas Market
Discover Cornwall’s top creatives and makers, selling crafts, jewellery, spirits, artisan treats and more.
There will be plenty of goodies to inspire your Christmas gift list – and not only perfect stocking fillers for loved ones, but a few for yourself too! Although tickets are now sold out, there will be a few remaining tickets on the door on the day, plus workshops which will give you free entry to the market as well as a new skill.
Twisted Christmas
Head to the theatre for a Christmas performance with a twist.
After the Owdyado Theatre’s successful ‘Twisted Tales,’ they’re excited to be back performing their first seasonal show, Twisted Christmas. Featuring writers from Cornwall and across the UK, this selection of original dramas includes tales of how to buy the perfect gift for your unloved ones, the dark side of Christmas cracker jokes, and one woman’s maniacal plot to murder Santa Claus. For those with a dark humour, you won’t want to miss this.
Jack Frost 5: Lost in Time
Travel to the heart of Truro and enjoy a wonderful winter tale.
Coppice Theatre are back with another brand new winter storytelling show. Help the team find Jack Frost as he takes a time machine and could be anywhere! Join Celia the Elf and help search for him across time and listen to wonderfully wintery tales along the way. This show is suitable for children and adults alike and makes for the perfect day out in December. Dressing up as your favourite winter character is also encouraged.
This will take place between 5pm and 6.30pm.

Meet Santa
He’s coming to town…
Santa will be taking time out of his very busy Christmas schedule to be welcomed at Newquay Zoo’s magical grotto. Each child that gets to meet Santa will receive an exciting gift. This is the perfect day out to welcome in the magic of Christmas for the kids. Please note this does not include access to Newquay Zoo and you will need to pre-book online.
Christmas. Time. by Near-ta Theatre
Head to The Great Hall for a special Christmas performance.
The Great Hall is extra special at Christmas. Our towering tree and twinkling lights add a spark of festive magic to the grand venue. The perfect setting for a bit of Christmas theatre, Near-ta will have you in fits of giggles at their family friendly performance of ‘Christmas.Time’. Starting at 3pm, settle into your seats with a toasty tipple and a mince pie ready for some holly jolly entertainment.
New Year's Eve Ball

Countdown to the new year, enjoying Truro’s dazzling midnight fireworks from our very own terrace.
