Burrell Theatre’s “A Cornish Carol”

Friday 6th – Saturday 7th December 2019: Burrell Theatre, Truro

A festive treat for all the family, A Cornish Carol sees Ebenezer Scrooge and his ‘Pre-Packaged “Proper” Pasty Production Company’ becoming hugely successful. But what’s that? The staff are exhausted? They want a day off? “Bah Humbug!” says Scrooge. Over the course of one mizzly Cornish night, join miserly Scrooge and a gaggle of ghostly ghouls who force him to revisit his past, explore his now and decide on his future.

Closer Each Day Theatre Company’s “Steamed”

Saturday 7th December 2019: Tolmen Centre, Constantine

Entirely improvised and distinctively Dickensian, this performance created on the spot from your suggestions provides a new comedy show for all the family. Co-produced with The Wardrobe Theatre, expect a quick-witted and very watchable ensemble.

Saturday 7th – Monday 30th December 2019: Tehidy Woods, Portreath

Award-winning Rogue Theatre returns to the wild Tehidy Woods near Portreath with their enchanting winter celebration. Follow the path deeper into the winter wood and experience the true magic of festive stories, enchanted myths and winter wonders.

Oddsocks Theatre’s “Aladdin”

Thursday 12th – Saturday 14th December 2019: The Lane Theatre, Newquay

A familiar story enjoyed by all with a modern twist, this traditional pantomime will have you getting in the festive spirit in no time. Oddsocks returns to The Lane Theatre in Newquay once more, to provide a magical adventure for adults and children alike.

Miracle Theatre’s Treasure Island

Friday 13th December – Sunday 5th January 2019: Princess Pavillion, Falmouth

Get involved in the epic swash-buckling fun-soaked adventure story of Treasure Island with Miracle Theatre this Christmas. Full of music and laughter for the festive holidays, heroine Hawkins will tackle pirates and battle with shipwrecked mariners to discover a hoard of buried treasure.

Cousin Jack’s “The Mousehole Cat”

Saturday 14th – Tuesday 31st December 2019: Solomon Browne Hall, Mousehole

A magical puppet and live action production of Antonia Barber’s classic children story, this unique heart-warming story of the friendship between a fearless fisherman and his devoted cat is sure to warm the heart and run the imagination wild. Performed in the heart of Mousehole, be sure to visit the Christmas illuminations before the show!

Near-ta Theatre’s “Christmas.Time.”

Thursday 26th December 2019: The Alverton Hotel, Truro

Join The Alverton for a yule-tide comedy like no other with Near-ta Theatre this Boxing Day. Suitable for all the family, year after year “Christmas. Time.” proves to be a festive and fantastically funny Christmas offering. Go on a journey with Charlie and Toby, who are serving time at Her Majesty’s pleasure on Christmas Day, for an adventure through Dickens, pantomime, musicals, and the best bits of Christmas Day lunch.
