The Macmillan Christmas Fair

This year the Eden Project will play host to Macmillan’s Cornish Christmas Fair which helps raise vital funds for Cornwall’s cancer patients. Browse a range of beautiful stalls, from home accessories and jewellery to clothing and delectable delights. The fair will take place in the Eden Kitchen, between the two biomes. Free to attend, stallholders will be donating 15% of all their takings to Cornwall Macmillan. Support local businesses and play a part in raising money for charity at this Christmas shopper’s dream event!
Cowslip Workshops Christmas Craft Fair

Find the perfect stocking fillers and discover unique gift ideas from a selection of talented creatives as they showcase beautifully hand-crafted products at this popular Christmas fair in Launceston. Entry costs £2 and the fair is open from 10am – 6:30pm on the Friday and 10am – 4:30pm on the Sunday.
Etsy Made Local Christmas Fair

Over 70 local designers, artists and makers will be selling their gorgeous gifts and handmade works at the Etsy Made Local Christmas Fair. Celebrating more than Christmas, this festive fair is all about supporting smaller, less known businesses in Cornwall.
Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm Christmas Markets
20 minute drive from The Alverton
This much-loved Cornish farm has had a festive makeover! Expect twinkling Christmas lights, the smell of fresh pine needles from the Christmas trees, and lots of mulled cyder, whiskey hot chocolates and cyder floats to keep you warm. Sample festive bakes and cakes in Mrs Claus’ Kitchen, discover something sweet at the Elves’ Treat Corner, shop for handmade Cornish gifts and join in carol singing. Festive face-painting and arts and craft stations will keep the little ones occupied at these truly magical markets. Available on selected weekends throughout November and December.
Made in Cornwall Christmas Fair
10 minute walk from The Alverton
Head to Lemon Quay where over 80 traders will be setting up shop and selling their Cornish products, from jigsaw puzzles, candles and pottery to chocolates, homemade jams and local ales. All the traders at this event have been officially awarded the ‘Made in Cornwall’ status by Trading Standards, so you can rest assured your purchases are 100% Cornish quality!
Camelford Winter Festival
1 hour drive from The Alverton
Starting at 6pm, the annual Camelford Winter Festival begins with the traditional parade led by Camelford Town Band. Warm up your vocal chords ready for some carol singing as the Camelford Christmas lights are switched on. Indulge in some festive food, keep warm with mulled wine and enjoy a fabulous fireworks display at 7:30pm.
Padstow Christmas Festival

Ho ho Padstow! One of the largest Christmas events in the UK, there is so much going on at Padstow’s Christmas Festival this year. Head to the foodie hotspot for homemade gifts and local artisan produce, a Santa fun run, Christmas light walks, celebrity chef demos and secrets from Santa’s grotto.

Fowey Christmas Market

Port Eliot Christmas Festival

Falmouth's Festive Weekend

Enter a winter wonderland, as Falmouth has a festive transformation. Take a ride on the Victorian carousel on the moor, hop on the snow train, play it cool down at Church Street’s artificial ice rink, and finish up at Events Square for a hot chocolate or something stronger in the warming Nordic tipis. With lots of local businesses getting involved, there are so many wonderful activities and attractions to see at this free event. The National Maritime Museum will offer free entry to all locals, Father Christmas will be making an appearance at Pendennis Castle, and Rick Stein‘s will be sweetening the deal with gingerbread decorating.
The Working Boat's Mini Christmas Festival
25 minute drive from The Alverton
Free mince pies, lots of mulled wine, boozy hot chocolates, and yuletide inspired food – indulge in all things festive at The Working Boat’s Mini Christmas Festival. As well as plenty of Christmas cuisine, the waterside pub will be welcoming local creatives to sell their handmade wares from 4pm until 8pm. Deck the halls with a personal creation at the wreath-making station, and sing-a-long to your favourite carols. Local blues band Me and the Devil will be ramping up the party until late with a special Christmas performance. Starting at 3pm and ending late, wrap up warm and bring your friends and family along to this free event.
