The Alverton Hotel has five unique and individual conferencing room catering for small meetings to larger events or trade fairs. All of our rooms are equipped with paper, pens and jugs of water. Our largest room, the Great Hall can seat up to 140 people for a meeting cabaret or theatre style and has real impact with its superb acoustics, marble staging, atmospheric lighting and original features. Room for breakout areas, lots of space for networking drinks and a blank canvas for different events and layouts.
The Oak is our most versatile room, used for boardroom, classroom and smaller theatre style lectures and private dining. It can seat up to 40 and has large windows at the front of the hotel providing lots of natural daylight and various options for tea, coffee and buffet stations. It is also a superb room for private lunches and evening dinner events.
The Duchy is on the far side of the hotel to the other function rooms, providing a smaller, more peaceful space. It is airy and open with a wall of mullioned windows and can bre used for boardroom meetings and smaller presentations. It can accommodate up to 30 people and is also an ideal room for private dining with a garden view.
The Bishop’s is ideal for smaller boardroom meetings of up to 14 people and is great for executive meetings or smaller team events.
The Archbishop’s is our smallest meeting room, catering for up to six people. This room is used mainly for interviews, appraisals and one-to-one meetings, and has natural light and room for refreshments too.
