Our largest room, the Great Hall can seat up to 140 people for a meeting cabaret or theatre style and has real impact with its superb acoustics, marble staging, atmospheric lighting and original features. Room for breakout areas, lots of space for networking drinks and a blank canvas for different events and layouts, the Great Hall is our most popular suite and is used mainly for large corporate companies such as Cornwall Council, the NHS and the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce breakfast networking events.
The Oak Suite is our most versatile room, used for boardroom, classroom and smaller theatre style lectures and private dining. It can seat up to 50 and has large windows at the front of the hotel providing lots of natural daylight and various options for tea/coffee and buffet stations. It is also a superb room for private lunches and evening dinner events for up to 40 people.
The Duchy Suite is on the far side of the hotel to the other function rooms, providing a smaller, more peaceful alternative to the larger suites. It is airy and open with a wall of mullioned windows and is used primarily for boardroom meetings and smaller presentations. It can accommodate up to 30 people and is also an ideal room for private dining with a garden view.
The Bishop’s Suite is ideal for smaller boardroom meetings of 8-10 people and is great for executive or director meetings, action learning sets, trustee board meetings or smaller team building events. It is the perfect size with lots of natural light.
The Archbishop’s suite is our smallest meeting room, catering for 2-6 people. This room is used mainly for interviews, appraisals and one-to-one meetings, and has natural light and room for refreshments too.
