Fall in love all over again with our Head Chef Simon George's dreamy Valentine's menu

With four courses under a candlelit setting, there's nowhere more special to celebrate with your loved one. Indulge in an evening of romance and dine this Valentine's Day the Alverton way. Priced at £50 per person, enjoy the below four courses on 14th February:


Glass of fizz on arrival



Smoked salmon blini, citrus crème fraîche keta caviar (2, 4, 5, 7)

Ham hock and pea tartlet, pancetta lardons (2, 4, 9)

Classic vichyssoise, crispy leeks V (1, 7)



Pork tenderloin, black pudding, pickled woodland mushrooms, mizuna, onion jam (9, 14)

Wine suggestion: Cramele Recas Pinot Noir 

Truffle arancini, rocket leaves, tarragon aioli V (2, 4, 9, 14) 

Wine suggestion: Growers Gate Chardonnay

Crayfish and prawn ravioloni, lemongrass, ginger broth (2, 3, 9, 14)

Wine suggestion: Domaine la Serre Picpoul de Pinet



Tournedos rossini, fillet steak, minced truffle, foie royale, crouton, truffle mash, tenderstem, madeira jus (2, 7, 9, 14)

Wine suggestion: Healy & Gray Estate Malbec Bonarda

Lemon sole paupiette, samphire, scallop mousse, crab rosti, garlic roasted tenderstem, confit lemon butter (3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 14)

Wine suggestion: Farfalla Pinot Grigio

Roasted squash and salt baked beets, jerusalem artichoke purée, crispy kale, vulscombe goat’s cheese, thyme roasted new potatoes, beetroot glaze V (4, 7)

‘Lover’s share’, chocolate fondant, gateau, ice cream V (2, 4 ,7)
