March in Cornwall

Spring is in full swing in March - the daffodils fill the hedgerows, the evenings are getting lighter, and coffee ‘al fresco’ is now doable (just!). March is also full of wonderful things to do throughout the county and we’ve pulled together our selection.

Anna Boghiguian

Tate, St Ives

Throughout March

This is the first retrospective in the UK of the Egyptian-Canadian artist of Armenian origin, Anna Boghiguian. The exhibition will feature large-scale installations of cut-out paper figures, alongside paintings, collages and books, as well as items from the artist's studio brought to St Ives.

World Pastry Championships

For the ultimate taste of Cornwall head to Eden for the Pasty Championships. Pasties fly in from across the world for the ultimate battle of the baked goods. Take the opportunity to explore the famous biomes and feel like you’ve been transported to the tropics.

The Alverton Speakeasy Murder

The Alverton, Truro

Saturday 9 March

The Alverton Speakeasy is the talk of Truro, amongst those in the know. The drinks flow, the food is to die for, and the music and dancing go on into the small hours. But there's trouble heading its way. Join us on Saturday 9 March for food, fun, cocktails ... and murder.

A truly magical and rare insight into the lives of the local community of West Cornwall during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries - perfect for those who love history and old photography.

Eden Project: Plan Bee

Eden Project, Bodelva
