Great Gardens of Cornwall

No matter the time of year Cornwall's gardens are always worth a visit. Here's our selection of the best throughout the county.

Why visit a Cornish garden?

The first thought of Cornwall is often one of beautiful stretches of golden sand and emerald seas, but turn inland a little and you will find magnificent gardens. Rich in unusual flora and fauna they are places of serenity, vibrancy and heritage. With The Alverton at the very heart of Cornwall, the best Cornish gardens are just a stone’s throw away.

Wander through the productive gardens before sampling its treats, fresh from the ground, in the Heligan Kitchen, take a journey through the pleasure gardens for a real sense of tranquility, and explore the jungle and brave one of the longest rope bridges in the country.  Heligan is the wonderment of ancient woodlands, the joy of jungle exploration and the addictive anticipation of what’s to come around each pathway.

An award-winning cafe and an event-filled amphitheatre make Trebah a popular garden all year round.
