Every weekend from 11th November: Healey's Christmas Market

Returning for its sixth year on the farm, this spectacular festive market runs every weekend in the run-up to the big day.

29th November: Late Night Festive Shopping in Truro

It’s that time of year again, and what better way to kick it off the Christmas season than with Cornwall’s famous late night shopping events.

Get a mulled wine and a bag of roasted chestnuts in hand ready for browsing the festive stalls on Lemon Quay, followed by a parade led by the one and only Father Christmas himself to kick off this annual event on the 29th November.

2nd - 3rd December: Heartland's Nadelik Christmas Market

The popular heritage centre will be welcoming guests to this fabulous Nadelik event in December.

8th-10th December: Fowey Christmas Market

Enjoy a weekend of festive entertainment, along with plenty of opportunities to pick up some ideal Christmas gifts!

This Christmas market is one of the largest in the region, with over a hundred traders offering a wide selection of top-quality food, drink and crafts.

From 1st December: Trengwainton Christmas Lights

Stroll through these beautiful National Trust gardens, near Penzance, under the warm glow of strings of fairy lights.

Browse the lighted structures made by local schools, artists and partner organisations. Warm up with a glass of mulled wine and a snack at the on-site cafe and do a quick spot of Christmas shopping at their cafe.

9th-10th December: Falmouth's Festive Weekend

Head to the local town of Falmouth for a festive weekend not to be missed.

December sees the return of our dreamy festive afternoon tea, the perfect pre-Christmas treat to spread the joy of the yuletide season. Tuck into seasonal sandwiches, Christmassy cakes and more, alongside a glass of piping hot mulled wine.

Throughout December: Ice Skating at Eden Project

The Eden Project’s ice rink is back and has plenty of lessons for those who are new to the sport.

You can choose beginner lessons or 40 minute slots for those who are already gliding along with serious skills. This activity is fun for all of the family and makes for the perfect winter day out.

Throughout December: Festive Evenings at The Working Boat

It’s the most wonderful time for a beer!

The Working Boat know how to throw a proper Cornish Christmas party. Whether it’s a cosy catch-up or a jolly knees-up, they’re ready to host gatherings in the pub from two to six people. Dine on hearty seasonal dishes rustled up by the crew, and drink and be merry with toasty tipples.

Throughout December: Truro's Christmas Markets

Festive shoppers are once again welcomed to our Great Little City for another year of seasonal browsing and buying.

Head to the centre of Truro, where every day in December Truro’s Christmas Markets will be open with plenty of amazing local suppliers, to help you tick off your festive shopping list. 25th December: Christmas Day Swim

If you’re planning on spending Christmas like a Cornish local this year, then a Christmas day dip is an absolute must!

Head to your closest beach-popular spots includes Gylly and Porthmeor beach– brave the chill and race into the water. Santa suit is optional. We do recommend bringing a flask of hot chocolate though. It’s the perfect post-plunge fuel.

27th December: Near-ta Theatre's 'Christmas Time'

Join Near-ta theatre company on a fantastical adventure through Dickens, pantomime, musicals, Christmas dinner and festive films! See as they build a wonderfully Merry Christmas with songs, snowmen and lots of laughs in this truly festive show that puts the ‘cell’ firmly back in ‘celebration’.
