Last Night of the Cornish Proms - Truro Cathedral, Truro
Truro Choral Society, led by Martin Palmer in partnership with Truro Cathedral, is thrilled to present the Last Night of the Cornish Proms at Truro Cathedral.
The event will also feature the Camborne Town Band, conducted by Gareth Churcher, and the City of Truro Male Choir, directed by Russell Pascoe, with the programme showcasing a diverse selection of Cornish music, including the iconic “Trelawny.” Bring your Cornish tartan and flags and celebrate Cornish culture and music.

The Wizardry Weekend in The Great Hall - The Alverton, Truro
This October, one of the year’s most enchanting events will take place in The Alverton’s Great Hall. Witches and wizards are invited to the Wizardry Ball on Saturday, 19th October, for an evening of enchantment, complete with a four-course feast conjured by our master of Cornish cuisine and kitchen magic, Ollie Wyatt.
On Sunday, 20th October, join us for a spellbinding Witchrafternoon Tea, where wizards of all ages can enjoy a magical twist on The Alverton’s signature sweets, scones, and savouries, with whimsical tricks and enchanting flavors throughout.
Big Truro Market - Lemon Quay, Truro
In a collaboration by Cornwall Shop Small and Truro Farmers Market with the support of Truro BID and Visit Truro, explore over 60 local crafters, creators, curators and makers. Enjoy live music and entertainment alongside community fun, competitions and workshops.
The Market takes place on the last Saturday of the month from March between 9am and 4pm and is hosted in the heart of the city on Lemon Quay and sometimes Boscawen Street.
