6th - 8th June

The Royal Cornwall Show - Wadebridge

Prepare for a weekend of agricultural showcases, live music, and competitions at Cornwall’s biggest annual event. Thousands of Cornish trade stands will take over the showground in Wadebridge, from arts and craft marquees, to artisan makers, butchers, bee-keepers, and local farmers. Alongside live cattle competitions, show-jumping, sea shanties, and proper Cornish food and drink. 

7th June

Truro River High Tide Cruises

Enterprise Boats are hosting an evening glide along the river at high tide. On the 7th June, catch the boat from The Prince of Wales Pier at 5pm for a cruise along the Carrick Roads, towards the city of Truro, returning back to Falmouth at 7:15pm. It’s the perfect time to admire hidden beaches, peaceful creeks, and wildlife on the water as the sun sets.

15th June

Heligan Bee Day

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are celebrating the importance of the honeybee with an event sure to create a buzz. On the 15th June, discover how honeybees contribute to smooth running of our ecosystem. In addition to observing them in their natural habitat, whilst you learn new ways to support honeybees in their pollination mission.

22nd June

Lobster on the Lawn

Set in our tranquil gardens, dig into locally-sourced lobsters, expertly prepared and served on our manicured lawns. Savour the flavours of the country’s favourite crustacean, sourced from the pristine waters surrounding Truro. With a menu that focuses on the simplicity of succulent seafood cooked to perfection. Enjoy your lobster with delicious sides, and a glass of fizz.

25th June

The McCartney Songbook - The Hall For Cornwall, Truro

Fans of The Beatles looking for things to do in Cornwall in June need to head to The Hall For Cornwall. Experience a setlist of powerhouse songs written by the legendary Sir Paul McCartney and performed by talented musicians and former West End stars. With over two hours of music, featuring over 30 hits including Live And Let Die, Hey Jude, and I Saw Her Standing There.

29th June

The BIG Truro Market

Support small businesses and shop local at our great little city’s BIG Truro Market. Welcoming over 60 local traders, from distilleries to suppliers, and independent artists and makers. Discover fantastic gifts, food, and homeware at this monthly shopping event. 

1st June - 6th July

The Marvellous Mechanical Museum - Truro

Last up on our guide of fun things to do in Cornwall in June is this intricate exhibition with plenty of moving parts. Located in the Royal Cornwall Museum on River Street in Truro, admire an impressive display of science, art and engineering. As well as a collection of fascinating automatons, starring in a whimsical show. At the push of a button, turn of a lever, or pull of a string, a world of marvellous mechanics comes to life before your eyes.
