Summer BBQs on the Terrace - The Alverton

Every Friday evening from 27th June to 5th September, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, our tranquil hilltop setting transforms into the perfect weekend retreat. Summer BBQs - The Falmouth

If you’re unable to attend our Friday evening BBQs at The Alverton, don’t fret. On Saturday 5th and Saturday 12th July, our sister hotel, The Falmouth will be firing up their own terrace BBQ for a relaxed, flavour-packed celebration of summer by the sea.

Enjoy sizzling seafood, prime cuts of meat, and chargrilled seasonal vegetables. There’s no need to book – just turn up, tuck in, and let the sea breeze and sunshine do the rest.

Truro Classic Car Show - Truro

This summer, step back in time at a free classic car and motorcycle show in Truro, showcasing an impressive collection of vintage vehicles from the 1920s to the 1990s. Lobster on the Lawn - The Alverton

Our sizzling summer lobster nights have been a sell-out hit, with our June and August dates now fully booked. Join us for an unforgettable evening as our talented chefs fire up the Konro grill to serve a mouth-watering lobster feast with all the trimmings. Sourced fresh from Cornish waters, our succulent lobster will be served al fresco on The Alverton’s picturesque terrace, offering sweeping views of our tranquil gardens. 26th July

Dragon Boat Race - The Greenbank

On Saturday 26th July, head to our sister hotel, The Greenbank, to experience the prestigious annual Dragon Boat Race in Falmouth. Watch the brightly coloured boats race up and down the shoreline with a pint in hand, as teams compete to take home the winning title.

Their below decks pub, The Working Boat, will be serving bacon baps in the morning and delicious dirty fries all day. Even better, the event is completely free to attend, with 10% of all food and drink proceeds donated to Mylor Sailability.
