“The Alverton is like no other hotel we’ve ever shot at. It feels more like a castle than a hotel. We shoot so many different venues across Cornwall, each with their own character and feeling. The Alverton is no different.

Each section of the hotel has its own magical touch. The main reception room where the ceremonies are held feels like something from a grand cathedral. Their outside terrace feels like a romantic French castle, and the woodland area feels like a magical country retreat. We love how much variety there is. It makes our job as photographers much easier and gives couples plenty of choice when it comes to backdrops for their photographs.” 

“Once the booking is secured we send a confirmation email and stay in touch regularly. The majority of our couples are booking a year or two in advance, so we want you to know your day is going to documented beautifully with no details missed right from the start. So you’ll have one less thing to worry about! We quite often meet with the couple beforehand for a coffee and very informal chat just so we can say hello.

In addition, we also offer an engagement shoot to get you used to being in front of a camera and how we work. We are always open to queries or worries. We are quite often chatting to brides late into the night simply because we are just as excited about their day as they are!”
