Hotel rooms
The Alverton has 33 bedrooms, all completely individual and offering a different experience to the next. Guests who stay with us regularly often choose to try a different room each time whereas others request their personal favourite. Each room has the modern amenities one would expect with ensuite bathrooms, heating controls, Freeview television, complimentary superfast wifi and tea/coffee facilities.
Our rooms offer tradition combined with the whimsical, romance, elegance and above all comfort. Soft lamplight adorns our corridors, lounge area and bedrooms to assist in a relaxed ambience. Our rooms are all unique but we have managed to categorise them into the following:
Single
Our Single rooms are airy and light, offering a comfortable amount of space.
Principle Double
Our principle Double rooms are spacious with antique furniture, each in a different colour with bath/shower or some with shower only.
Deluxe Double
Our Deluxe Doubles are our more interesting rooms with varying details in each so no two are the same. Glass door details, little lounge areas and mullioned windows, hidden nooks and crannies, superior views and extra touches like bathrobes make these rooms a little more special.
Suites
Our Suites are the largest and most stunning rooms of all, with separate seating areas and the best views in the hotel. One of our Suites has a four poster bed crafted from antique wood and offers incredible views of the building and grounds. At the top of the grand wooden staircase you can also find our Bridal Suite containing superior views, a super large four poster bed and separate seating area, perfect for a sense of space and romance.
